Earlier this year I just finished a book called “The Introvert’s Complete Career Guide: From Landing a Job, to Surviving, Thriving, and Moving on Up” by Jane Finkle. This book was written based on the personal experience of the author who at that time struggled as an introvert in the early days of his career. This book provides guidance from finding a job, writing a CV, handling interviews, and also how to stand out in an office environment dominated by extroverts....

Several months ago, social media was hyped with discussions about work-life balance. I also follow the discussion. From these tweets, many people don’t believe that work-life balance can happen. Some also think that work-life balance is a myth. It’s understandable if the crowd leads to an opinion that says that work-life balance is not real because all the crowds are mostly echoed by entrepreneurs, influencers, content creators, and other people who have a lot of followers on social media....

Again, Facebook reminds me of an old photo I’ve uploaded. I still remember when my dad came home with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in his hand. Initially, he bought the book for himself, but because every night he always told me the story of the book, so I was also interested in reading it myself. Since then, whenever a new Harry Potter book is released, my dad always buys the book for us to read....

I don’t have to have an opinion about something. I can just let it be. I can ignore it. I can realize it doesn’t pertain to me, or I can just see it as it is. I don’t need to say that it’s good or bad, fair or unfair. It just is. I’m gonna look at it as an objective piece of information. It doesn’t need me projecting my thoughts, beliefs, or perceptions on it....

You always have the option of having no opinion, meaning just wait and see. You don’t need to apply your judgement to something yet. It’s not things that upset us, it’s our judgement about them. So just wait and see. The future will reveal whether this is good or bad, it will reveal whether you know, all the facts yet. Just wait and see. You don’t need to have an opinion yet....
